The Mickey Salmon Memorial Scholarship was awarded to two recipients by the Great Lakes Sports & Rec Club in 2023. These students are both outstanding academic scholars and a definite asset to our society. Thank you Kassidy LaBay and Matthew Kaven for applying for our scholarship.

2024 Scholarship Application Deadline is April 20th
Scholarship applications may be dropped off at the clubhouse during open hours or mailed to: PO BOX 152, Escanaba, Michigan 49829.
The Mickey Salmon Memorial Scholarship program started in 2012 and is named after Mickey Salmon who was a life long member of Great Lakes Sports Club. Mickey dedicated much of his time helping the youth of our community.
The scholarship is offered to children or grandchildren of active members of GLSRC. The scholarship is $400 and graduating High School seniors who are continuing their education are eligible.
