The Mickey Salmon Memorial Scholarship was awarded to one recipient by the Great Lakes Sports & Rec Club in 2025. This student is both outstanding academic scholar and a definite asset to our society. Thank you Brooklyn Pendergraft for applying for our scholarship.

Scholarship applications may be dropped off at the clubhouse during open hours or mailed to: PO BOX 152, Escanaba, Michigan 49829.

The Mickey Salmon Memorial Scholarship program started in 2012 and is named after Mickey Salmon who was a life long member of Great Lakes Sports Club. Mickey dedicated much of his time helping the youth of our community.
​​
The scholarship is offered to children or grandchildren of active members of GLSRC. The scholarship is $400 and graduating High School seniors who are continuing their education are eligible.
